Dr. Pantula Rama, is a multi talented musician. She sings Carnatic Vocal as well as plays the violin proficient enough to accompany leading artists.
Her voice is extremely melodious, slightly on the husky side, which gives her a big differentiation from other singers. Her ability to bring about the perfection on the songs is definitely her strength. Its always enjoyable to sit through her concerts. Gives you a very relaxed feeling.

My best find this year at the Chennai Music Festival was undoubtedly the Trichur Brothers. Wow! What a performance at this years Music Avademy, the brothers complemented even within alapanai’s to produce a unique blend of innovative high energy performance. They sure are going places.
